I’m Helmut von Munchhausen (AKA John Powell) the MC of the Oompah Stompers a 5 piece Bavarian Oompah Party Band. Brass, woodwind and drums. We’ve done many gigs around the UK to great acclaim. We play great traditional German Bierkeller music, Involving the audience in individual games like “Racing to explode the balloons with pumps” and “Tea Bagging For Beginners”. We offer crowd pleasing swaying, traditional knee smacking and toasting activities. My players and I are very experienced musicians in our own right and love entertaining a fun party audience with energy packed show.
